MEET THE TEAM
Jodie joins our practice after 20 years in the medical field managing surgical and specialty practices. She is an extrovert who loves people! She graduated from UW with a BA in Psychology and recently finished her Master of Health Leadership degree through WGU. Jodie loves being a part of a team, especially teams who are working together to make the lives of patients and their families a priority.
Jodie was raised with her 4 siblings in Connecticut, Hawaii, Michigan, and Washington. Her father, an ENT surgeon, was active duty in the Army during her childhood. Jodie’s mom, a Registered Nurse also spent her life taking care of patients and between the two of them, set an example of compassion and service that Jodie works to emulate.
After meeting Dr. Niazi and Dr Olsson, Jodie knew instantly that she wanted to be a part of Puget Sound Endodontic Associates. The caring nature and personal attention that is given to each patient in the practice is what drew Jodie to join the team. Jodie feels, in a fast-paced world, there is nothing more important than slowing down to care for patients in their time of need with compassion and expertise.
In Jodie’s spare time, she loves to hang out with her husband Ron of 25 years and her 3 kids. If she is not cooking dinner or baking, she is out walking her 2 mastiffs (Ivan and Lucy) or at the gym attempting to stay in shape!!

I am thrilled to be part of a team that is passionate about providing the highest level of dental and patient care. I was introduced to the dental field more than a dozen years ago. I found the field to be a wonderful fit for my love of serving people while juggling many administrative tasks.
I love getting to know our patients and being part of a committed team that thoughtfully helps them progress through dental treatment to obtain optimal oral health.
I enjoy my free time beachcombing, cooking for family and friends, and discovering with my husband the many hidden byways of the beautiful northwest!

Tara enrolled as an Alumni at Penn Foster Career School graduating from their Dental Assistant program in 2016. She says, “as a biracial female, I knew from previous life experiences that my passion was helping people, especially the under-privileged and immigrant populations.” With this intent, she began her profession working as a Dental Assistant in Community Health. She loves working in the dental field because every day is an opportunity to make a dramatic and positive difference in someone’s life. She says her job is more than assisting a dentist; her job is one of reassurance, empathy and compassion.
Tara grew up in Canada, but moved to the US nearly ten years ago. Now that she passed her last national board exam to become a CDA, Tara enjoys spending time with her fiancé in their new home...soaking in the hot tub, gardening and caring for their little zoo of animals. They can most certainly be found all over Western Washington fishing from their kayaks.

Kat is a graduate of Clover Park Technical College. She assisted in a private general dentistry practice for 2 years before committing to five years to Community Health Care.
Kat’s mother has been her greatest role model when deciding to go into the dental field. She inspired Kat with her excellent patient care, how she commands the room and makes every patient feel comfortable and confident knowing that their dental needs and best interests are taken to heart.
What does Kat like about the dental field? “When my patients leave their appointments smiling and confident knowing that their needs are being taken care of. A smile is so important. It’s what makes us feel beautiful on the inside out and can affect how we perceive ourselves.”
Kat was born into the military (Air Force) in Okinawa, Japan and lived there for 7 years before moving to Abilene, TX. When her dad decided to retire, they moved to Washington in 2001.
During Kat’s free time, she spends time with her young son and his father. She loves to read a good book to relax and listen to music on long drives and let her mind and imagination wander. What’s her latest challenge? Developing a green thumb!

Kailyn has always lived on the Kitsap Peninsula between Port Orchard, Bremerton and Silverdale. As a car enthusiast Kailyn spends her free time going to car shows in Seattle…her favs? Trucks and Japanese cars. She also loves hiking, camping and her Boxer/Labrador dog named Todd. Kailyn’s talents include playing the ukulele and singing!
