MEET THE TEAM

Stephanie
Operations Coordinator
Stephanie has been a leader of our front office team for several years and is now tackling the role of Operations Coordinator. She came to our team with over nine years of healthcare experience. She loves being a part of the dental industry and broadening her knowledge! Stephanie considers herself very lucky to be a part of the caring and passionate Endodontic Team!

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Stephanie is a true PNW girl and loves getting to raise her two children in such a beautiful place and be so close to family.
When Stephanie isn't at work, she's spending time with her two kids and husband, reading, participating in 5k's and/or buying and selling children's consignment.

Kristy
Insurance Coordinator
Kristy has been a part of Gig Harbor and Port Orchard Endodontics since 2007 as administrative assistant and insurance coordinator. She enjoys playing a part in making our patients comfortable during their office visits.
She was born in the Midwest but has lived most of her adult life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When away from the workplace, she and her husband Mark enjoy checking out local restaurants, travelling and always make sure to allow plenty of time for their adult children and grandkids!

Margaret
Patient Care Coordinator
When you first visit our office, you will be greeted by Margaret. With a smile and sense of humor, she takes care of all your front office needs. With more than 25 years in the dental field, Margaret really enjoys helping patients have a fantastic dental experience.
When Margaret is not at the office she enjoys running, camping, hiking, traveling, visiting family, and spending time outdoors. Margaret has a son with whom she enjoys spending time. She is an avid animal lover and has a rescue dog named Rosie...her "partner in crime."

Olivia
Patient Care Coordinator
Olivia comes to PSEA with 5 years of dental experience. She started in pediatric dentistry and then moved to a general practice. Her work history also includes time at an eye clinic but dentistry just seemed interesting to Olivia. Also, her love of interacting with patients and helping people a front desk position is the right kind of office work for her.

Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia Olivia and her husband have only been in the PNW for 2 years (a great place to be with her love of coffee.) She loves to read books and explore new areas during her free time. Olivia also has 3 dogs, Kya, Khalessi and Winston.

Kortney
Patient Care Coordinator
Before joining Puget Sound Endodontic Associates, Kortney spent three years working as a surgery scheduler and receptionist in a private practice of 8 OBGYN’s and 3 nurse practitioners. She decided to give dentistry a try because it is so similar to medical and she could adapt her medical experience to benefit our dental patients. Kortney likes the dental environment because of the fast-paced environment, ever changing of faces, interacting with the patients and helping people. She is also going to school for her Bachelors of Science of Nursing.
Kortney is originally from St. Louis Missouri. But as a military family, she has moved around the country including 4 years in San Diego but loves living in the Northwest.
Between work and school, Kortney has 2 children who keep her busy. But when she gets time to herself, Kortney reads, listens to podcasts, and crochets. Her busy household includes Zoey and Gibbs the dogs, Pancake and Winnie the cats and one bearded Dragon named Cricket!

Bailee
Treatment Coordinator
Bailee joined Puget Sound Endodontic Associates in the spring of 2022 and was brand new to dentistry. She’d always been interested in the dental field and was excited to gain working experience and broaden her knowledge of endodontics. Bailee grew up in Tacoma and attended WSU. Now that she is home from school, Bailee can focus on a career in the dental field and patient care.

Bailee likes working at PSEA because it incorporates many aspects of work that she really enjoys: patient interactions and learning on the job. Working and learning “the front desk” has been an enjoyable experience for her! Now she has trained to work as a Dental Assistant.

In her free time, Bailee enjoys going to car shows with her best friend and dad, spending time with family and friends, reading and listening to music. Bailee has two cats, Milo and Akira (who are spoiled rotten) and a Pit/Labrador dog named Bishop.

Jennifer
Patient Care Coordinator
Jennifer joined our PSEA family the spring of 2023. She got into the field in 2014, spent the first 3 years in general dentistry. She started scheduling hygiene appointments for a dentist that happened to be her friend’s dad! After a year in prosthodontics, in 2020 she joined an endodontic group and was a manager for 2 years. Why does she love dentistry? She loves helping people and getting them out of pain.

Jennifer grew up in Kitsap County, spent the last 4 years in Marysville and has recently returned to our neck of the woods. She loves doing anything outdoors, like camping and hiking. Otherwise, you will find her nose buried in a book.

Madeline
Treatment Coordinator
Madeline joins our Endodontic Team directly from Bremerton Dental Assisting School. After working with small children for several years she wanted a new adventure and career change. Madeline likes meeting all the people who come in for help on their teeth and being able to help them with the procedures of the office.

Madeline has lived in Port Orchard since she was in the second grade and considers Washington State home. In her free time, she likes to read and tend to her garden. Madeline loves her two dogs: Rhino a Great Dane-Mastiff mix and Ellie a Chihuahua-Terrier mix. Also, amongst the mix she cares for two fish!

Brittany
Treatment Coordinator
Brittany is from Gig Harbor, and she was personally trained by Dr. Olsson. Today, what she enjoys most about being a dental assistant is having the power to help patients feel better about themselves!

Brittany is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have two fur babies at home. She also has two older brothers and one younger sister – in fact, most people think her sister is her twin.
When she isn’t busy at the practice, her favorite hobbies include boating in the summer, wake surfing, wakeboarding, camping in the Great Pacific Northwest, watching football (GO HAWKS), and playing fantasy football.

Tara, CDA
Treatment Coordinator
Tara enrolled as an Alumni at Penn Foster Career School graduating from their Dental Assistant program in 2016. She says, “as a biracial female, I knew from previous life experiences that my passion was helping people, especially the under-privileged and immigrant populations.” With this intent, she began her profession working as a Dental Assistant in Community Health. She loves working in the dental field because every day is an opportunity to make a dramatic and positive difference in someone’s life. She says her job is more than assisting a dentist; her job is one of reassurance, empathy and compassion.
Tara grew up in Canada, but moved to the US nearly ten years ago. Now that she passed her last national board exam to become a CDA, Tara enjoys spending time with her new husband in their new home...soaking in the hot tub, gardening and caring for their little zoo of animals. They can most certainly be found all over Western Washington fishing from their kayaks.

Kat
Treatment Coordinator
Kat is a graduate of Clover Park Technical College. She assisted in a private general dentistry practice for 2 years before committing to five years to Community Health Care.
Kat’s mother has been her greatest role model when deciding to go into the dental field. She inspired Kat with her excellent patient care, how she commands the room and makes every patient feel comfortable and confident knowing that their dental needs and best interests are taken to heart.
What does Kat like about the dental field? “When my patients leave their appointments smiling and confident knowing that their needs are being taken care of. A smile is so important. It’s what makes us feel beautiful on the inside out and can affect how we perceive ourselves.”
Kat was born into the military (Air Force) in Okinawa, Japan and lived there for 7 years before moving to Abilene, TX. When her dad decided to retire, they moved to Washington in 2001.
During Kat’s free time, she spends time with her young son and his father. She loves to read a good book to relax and listen to music on long drives and let her mind and imagination wander. What’s her latest challenge? Developing a green thumb!

Tawnya
Treatment Coordinator
Tawnya is a new addition to the PSEA Team. Look for a photo and an introduction about Tawnya in the near future.

Yulia
Treatment Coordinator
Yulia went to the Academy of Dental Technology in 2007 to become a dental assistant. In 2009 she worked in the largest Navy facility in Norfolk, Virginia. She was trained by the military dentist, in 2011 and became an advanced endodontics specialty dental assistant. She has always wanted to work in the medical field, including dentistry.

What does she like about the dental field? “Healthy life starts from healthy mouths. Root Canals save your teeth. And I can make patient visits more comfortable.” Yulia is very social and friendly.

Yulia is originally from Vladivostok, Russia. When she was 20 years old, she went to Korea by herself and that's when she met her husband. They moved to Virginia and she became a military wife. Being a military family, they move a lot…from Virginia to Texas to California and now to Washington in 2020!

“In my free time I like to cook my Russian food, kayaking, hiking, and taking care of my indoor plants. I have two daughters: Victoria, 18 and Kira, 8 years old.” She has two small Chihuahuas, one is 12 years old, Boss, and the youngest one five years old, Bella. The Maine Coon cat, Nalla, is 1.

An interesting fact about Yulia: she speaks three languages including Russian, Korean, English, and is currently learning Filipino and Spanish.

Nicole
Office Liaison
Nicole has been with Gig Harbor Endodontics for 13 years. As the office liaison, she has had the privilege to travel throughout Pierce, Kitsap and Mason County areas visiting the offices of our referring dentists. You will most likely find her on the road delivering lunches, flowers, or other seasonal goodies to show our appreciation to those who help the practice thrive. She has been learning on the job by adding website design and social media management to her work skills.
When she's not working she enjoys spending time with her husband Ted, daughter Miranda, son-in-law Matthew and grandson, Ryan! Ruby, the Labrador keeps everyone on their toes! Together they like to camp, hike, fish, garden and work on their home.
